As the Sun slowly edges towards the next solar minimum I am now focusing more of my time on to imaging some of the wealth of deep sky objects that are accessible at my location. I am using the TOA 130 with a modified Canon 450 D, autoguide via PHD2 and Pixinsight for processing.

Here is my first attempt at a deep sky object M8 The Lagoon Nebula in Sagittarius the result of 150 minutes of exposures from 16 separate frames.

This next image is 135 minutes on M16 The Eagle Nebula.

This is a work in progress image of M42 the Orion Nebula

M42

This next image is the globular cluster M13. A total of 18 minutes of exposures in 9 separate images.

Here is my attempt at M 57 from the 1st July 2016 a total of 17 exposures comprising 29 minutes of data.
