Here are my  animations from 8 September to 1 October 2011.

1 October here is AR1302 between 14-32 and 14-58UT. This sunspot is now decaying but still shows lots of activity. Seeing grade 2 to grade 4.

1 October 2011

30 September 2011 between 14-22 and 15-21UT here is another sequence on AR 1302 seeing was between grade 2 and grade4.

30 September 2011

29 September here is AR1305 between 10-27 and 10-48UT. Seeing between grade 2 and grade 3. I was recording this region at the same time as the animation below.

29 September 2011

29 September 2011 here is AR1302 between 10-21 and 10-51UT. Seeing between grade 2 and grade 3.

29 September 2011

28 September 2011 here a M1.2-class flare breaks across AR1302 between 13-24 and 13-40UT. Seeing was better than earlier and grade 2. I got over 5 hours of video sets one minute apart enough for a 5 hour run on this sunspot.

28 September 2011

28 September 2011 here a C-class flare breaks across AR1302 between 12-28 and 12-44UT. Seeing was better than earlier and grade 2. I got over 5 hours of video sets one minute apart enough for a 5 hour run on this sunspot.

28 September 2011

28 September 2011 here a C9.3-class flare breaks across AR1302 between 12-28 and 12-44UT. Seeing was a poor grade 4.

28 September 2011

27 September 2011 between 11-42 and 11-57UT here is some C1.3-class flare action across AR1302. Seeing was mainly a reasonable grade 2

27 September 2011

27 September 2012 here a C1.8-class flare breaks over AR1302 sequence between 10:48 to 11:18UT in grade 2 seeing conditions.

27 September 2011

26 September 2011 between 11-13 and 11-36UT here is AR1302 in action with a "smoking" filament. Seeing poor grade 3.

26 September 2012

25 September 2011 between 15-27 and 15-39UT here is a spectacular M3.7-class flare breaking across AR1302. The seeing varied between a reasonable grade 2 and a poor grade 4. The atmosphere seemed to boil after the flare peaked at 15-33UT. There are some faint magnetic loops suspended over the event migrating away from the direction of travel of this blast.

25 September 2011

23 September 2011 here is another look at AR1302 between 15-10 and 15-44UT again seeing was poor through clouds so lots of processing.

23 September 2011

22 September 2011 here is a M2-class limb flare between 08-40 and 09-12UT, seeing was truly awful with all frames through cloud so lots of processing here and I have also included the bad frames for continuity. Missed the main X1.4 limb shortly afterwards event due to heavy clouds - one of these days?

21 September 2011

21 September 2011 here is AR1295 between 08-21 and 08-39UT in seeing conditions grade 2.

21 September 2011

18 September 2011 here is AR1295 in better grade 1 to grade 2 seeing conditions seen between 10-24 and 10-50UT then clouded out.

17 September 2011 here is another look at AR1289 as it approaches the limb. Seeing was not very good grade 3 to grade 4. Animation runs from 16-31 to 16-56UT then Sun behind neighbors roof. AR1291 is still active right on the limb itself.

17 September 2011

15 September 2011 here is AR1289  photographed between 10-00 and 10-34UT. Seeing conditions were a reasonable grade 2 with a long cloud free spell.

15 September 2011

15 September 2011 here is a C-class flare breaking around AR1296 left and 1295 in reasonable grade 2 seeing conditions between 10-41 and 11-27UT.

15 September 2011

15 September 2011 here is AR1291 showing some sub-flaring activity between 11-52 and 12-35UT. Seeing conditions were grade 2.

15 September 2011

14 September 2011 here is a flare breaking across AR1290  between 16-16 and 16-48UT then clouded out. Seeing conditions grade 3 with strong gusting winds to 30mph. This is a C4.2-class solar flare.

14 September 2011

13 September 2011 here is AR1289 photographed between 10-41 and 11-20UT seeing was a poor grade 3.

13 September 2011

13 September 2011 here is AR1287 in poor grade 3 seeing conditions between 09-43 and 10-13UT.

13 September 2011

13 September 2011 here is AR1295 in poor grade 4 seeing between 09-07 and 09-31UT.

13 September 2011

12 September 2011 here is AR1289 photographed in awful conditions grade 4 seeing and 50mph gusting winds between 13-57 and 14-20UT, it was such a large sunspot complex that I could not resist having a go at it!

12 September 2011

08- September 2011 here a large M6.7-class solar flare breaks across AR1283 between 15-57 and 16-18UT. I have had to shrink the GIF file so that it will load onto this site. Seeing conditions an average grade 3. This huge plasma loop was the result of an M6-Flare.
